Tortuguero Package 2 Nights & 3 Days (Full Board)

Between 5:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m., we will depart from San José, with pick-up from major downtown hotels, and travel along Route 32 through Braulio Carrillo National Park toward the Caribbean.

At 8:00 a.m., we will stop at Senderos Río Blanco for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast and a short walk to a scenic Río Blanco viewpoint. At 9:00 a.m., we continue to the embarkation port, passing villages and banana plantations.

At the dock, we board a boat to Laguna Lodge. Restrooms and snacks are available (extra cost). During the one-hour boat ride, we will enjoy the rainforest and canals.

We arrive around midday, receive a welcome cocktail and briefing, and enjoy buffet lunch at 12:30 p.m. overlooking Tortuguero’s main canal.

At 3:00 p.m., we visit the village of Tortuguero, including a guided walk and free time. We return to the lodge at 5:00 p.m. Dinner is served from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The following day, breakfast will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., we will begin our excursion to Tortuguero National Park, an approximately two-hour boat tour with a local guide who will help us discover the area’s flora and fauna. We will return to the lodge around 10:30 a.m., where refreshments will be waiting for us. Lunch will be available from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

At 3:00 p.m., the guide will meet us for a guided walk through the gardens, along the trails, and on the beach, where we can learn more about the local flora. This activity lasts two hours. Dinner will be served from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On the third day, breakfast will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. We will begin our return trip at 9:00 a.m. The boat ride to the dock takes one hour, where we will board the bus to the Senderos Río Blanco restaurant for lunch. Arrival in San José is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
